The devastating impact that COVID-19 pandemic continues to unleash on mankind, has also adversely effected the global commerce and businesses, so have contracts and obligations.

From a contractual perspective, a Force Majeure Clause provides a temporary reprieve to a party from performing its obligations under a contract.

Some contracts also contain a provision that if such Force Majeure event continues for a prolonged period the parties may be permitted to terminate the contract.

Keeping the Covid 19 Pandemic impact in the background, the ASSOCHAM is organising an online webinar and we cordially invite you in the Webinar on 'Force Majeure' & Indian Contract Law-A Discussion, to get more insightful perspective on the repercussions of COVID-19 and its impact on businesses & contracts on Wednesday 27th May, 2020 from 12:00 noon to 01:00 PM.

ASSOCHAM Industry Members from across the country are being invited.

We are sure for an active participation of the legal faternity of your organization for making this webinar meaningful

Thanking you and with regards,

Ajay Sharma
